Overview

LREC9232MT is a Gigabit Ethernet network adapter with PCI Express x1 bus interface, developed by Linkreal Co., Ltd. based on the Realtek RTL8111H main control scheme. This Gigabit adapter combines a PCI Express bus controller with embedded memory. 

This product utilizes cutting-edge DSP technology and hybrid-mode signal technology, enabling high-speed transmission via CAT5 UTP cables, CAT3 UTP (limited to 10Mbps) or higher-grade cables. It incorporates features such as cross-detection and automatic correction, polarity correction, adaptive equalization, crosstalk cancellation, echo cancellation, timing recovery, and error correction, providing robust transmission and reception capabilities at high speeds.

Supports ECMA (European Computer Manufacturers Association) Sleep Host Standard proxy. This standard specifies the maintenance of network connectivity and presence through a proxy, in order to extend the sleep duration of higher-power hosts. It handles some network tasks on behalf of the host, allowing the host to remain in sleep mode for extended periods. The required and optional behaviors of the operation proxy include generating reply packets, ignoring packets, and waking up the host. 

LREC9232MT is fully compatible with Microsoft NDIS5, NDIS6 (IPv4, IPv6, TCP, UDP) checksum and segmentation task offload functions, and supports IEEE 802 IP layer 2 priority encoding and IEEE 802.1Q virtual bridging local area network (VLAN). These functions help reduce CPU utilization, especially beneficial for performance when running on network servers. 

LREC9232MT supports Receive Side Scaling (RSS) to perform hashing on incoming TCP connections and load balance received data across multiple CPUs. RSS can increase the number of transactions per second and connections per second, thereby improving network throughput. 

LREC9232MT is suitable for multiple market segments and new functional applications, such as desktops, mobile devices, workstations, servers, communication platforms, embedded applications, and more.
