Overview

LRES8001PT-BP is a quad-port dual-way Bypass Gigabit Ethernet network adapter developed by Shenzhen Lianrui Electronics Co., Ltd. Based on the Intel I350 chip solution,The adapter has four fully integrated Gigabit Ethernet Media access controller (MAC) and PHY port, based on a single chip instead of adding a bridge controller.


LRES8001PT-BP supports three working modes: normal, disconnected and Bypass. In normal mode, each port is an independent Ethernet interface,which can exchange data with other devices such as switches.In Bypass mode, all received packets are transmitted from one port to the adjacent port for transmission. In disconnected mode, it appears as the switch is off or the line is not connected.


The adapter also supports the timing dog feeding function. Once the server is down or other conditions fail to send the dog feeding command, it will trigger the Bypass mode, so that other access devices will not be affected.
