Project Background:
Fiber to The Desktop (FTTD) is an optical fiber that extends the fiber to the user's terminal computer in place of the traditional Category 5 copper cable to enable the user's terminal to access the entire fiber network. With the development of network technology, fiber transmission is one of the important transmission media for current information transmission. FTTD access technology has emerged in recent years and has been widely used abroad. With the continuous decline in the prices of optical fiber and fiber access equipment, FTTD has also begun to be applied in special government departments in China, such as auditing, finance, public security, national security, courts, inspection institutes, military industry, universities, and research institutes etc.

The computer system of the Public Prosecutor’s Office two separate subnets: the intranet and the Internet. The subnet structure is completely physically isolated. This time only for the intranet rebuilt and the intranet full-fiber is built to the desktop cabling system.

Introduction:
Laying fiber to the desktop (FTTD) network in office buildingsFiber-to-the-desktop (FTTD) networks are generally deployed in office buildings. This article uses a 4 floors office building as an example to illustrate the process of laying fiber-to-the-desktop (FTTD) networks.
As shown in the below picture, the server room is on the first floor, and the other floors are office areas.

The fiber-to-the-desktop (FTTD) network can be divided into three areas for wiring: server room wiring, office area wiring and desktop wiring.

Server room wiring
Before start the wiring, the network equipment model number such as the switch, the quantity and type of optical cables used and the cable routing scheme should be confirmed based on actual demands.

The fiber optic cables quantity in fiber-to-the-desktop (FTTD) applications should be minimized because fiber optic cables are weak and difficult to manage. One of the effective methods to achieve this goal is to use BiDi optical modules on the switch, so that the fiber optic cables quantity can be reduced by half. The following lists the BiDi optical modules that are recommended for use in the server room and the types of fiber cable and switches that are used in conjunction with them:

In order to better manage the equipment and cables in the server room, we also need to use racks, adapter panels and wiring boxes.
In addition, an open rack is preferably used in the server room to facilitate flexible cabling. When the small quantity optical cable, the adapter panel is enough. When the large quantity optical cables, a compact distribution box is required.

Office area wiring
Since fiber optic cables must be connected to desk in every office, it is best to install a hub at each floor in order to save fiber resources and facilitate fiber management. If the number of desks is large, it is necessary to install a hub in each office.

Desk wiring
The final step in laying fiber to the desktop (FTTD) is to connect the fiber optic cable to a computer, VoIP phone, and other terminal devices. At this point, a fiber-optic socket panel is needed. In addition, since most terminal devices have only electrical ports and no optical ports, we also need to use optical network terminals (ONTs) to convert optical signals into electrical signals. The approach is to connect the optical network terminal (ONT) and the wall fiber socket panel with an optical fiber cable, and then connect the optical network terminal (ONT) and the terminal equipment with network cable.

Description:

In this program, because it is a government agency, taking into account the specificity of its industry, it is necessary to ensure the normal operation of the business, but also to ensure the prevention of leakage of important information, so whether the whole machine or accessories are selected domestic brands, especially data transmission accessories. These options is particularly important for the user's choice. Therefore, we chose the LECC9260PF-SFP 1G network card from Shenzhen Lianrui Electronics Co., Ltd. that has 10 years of R&D experience. Shenzhen Lianrui Electronics Co., Ltd. is a science and technology enterprise specializing in R&D, production, sales and service and is dedicated to the application and development of fiber optic network cards in China. Established close cooperation with well-known domestic and foreign chip manufacturers such as Intel,Broadcom,Marvell,Realtek and Icplus. Adhere to independent research and development, continuous innovation, and specialize in the development strategy of excellence and strength. Always remember to concern on quality and innovate. The corporate purpose of seeking development and striving to repay the society has always been to revitalize the national brand as the responsibility and obligation of the people of Lianrui.

Product Introduction:
