Overview

LRES3040PF-OCP is an OCP 3.0 SFF Dual-port 25G ethernet network adapter. Virtualization applications with 1/10/25G connectivity for network infrastructure, native hardware support based on ethernet stateless offload engine, direct connection technology, etc.

The SR-IOV technology of LRES3040PF-OCP provides dedicated adapter resources for VMS in the server to meet the guarantee of isolation and protection. Meanwhile, I/O virtualization provides better server utilization in the data center and reduces the cost and cabling complexity. Allow more virtual machines to run on the same hardware to meet more user needs.

LRES3040PF-OCP uses NVGRE, VXLAN and GENEVE hardware uninstallation engines to effectively solve the problem of VM traffic transmission through the logical tunnel of packaging formats (such as NVGRE and VXLAN). The problem of network scalability and load on the host CPU is solved. These offload engines encapsulate and unencapsulate override protocol headers, enabling traditional offloads to be performed on encapsulated traffic of these and other tunnel protocols (geneva, MPLS, QinQ, etc.).

LRES3040PF-OCP provides a very economical and flexible Ethernet adapter solution for Web 2.0, cloud, data analytics, database, and storage platforms.
